Our Commitment to You

At KyDeco, we believe buying open-box or gently used furniture should feel as confident as buying new. Every item we list has been personally inspected by our team. Every blemish, scratch, or mark has been photographed and documented, so what you see in our listing photos is exactly what you will receive.

We are based in Hackensack, NJ, and we stand behind every piece we sell. If something arrives that was not disclosed in our listing, we will make it right.

What "Open Box" and "Gently Used" Mean

Open Box — Item was returned or never assembled. Packaging was opened but the item was never fully used. May have very minor cosmetic marks from handling. All parts and hardware are present unless otherwise noted.

Gently Used — Item has been previously owned and used. We inspect and professionally clean every piece and photograph all visible wear — scratches, scuffs, or any other marks — before listing. Any defects are clearly shown in our product photos and noted in the listing description.

Please review all listing photos carefully before purchasing. Our product photos are taken of the actual item you will receive — not stock photography.

What to Do When Your Furniture Arrives

Because we sell open box and gently used items, we ask that you take 5 minutes to inspect your furniture at the time of delivery:

1. Walk around the entire piece and compare it to the listing photos.
2. Check for any damage that was NOT shown or described in the listing.
3. If the delivery team is still present, note any concerns with them directly.
4. If you discover an undisclosed issue, contact us within 24 hours of delivery at support@kydeco.com or 201-502-0358.

Our inspection window is 24 hours after delivery. If you contact us within that window about something we did not disclose, we will work with you to resolve it. After 24 hours, all sales are considered final.

Returns

We accept returns only for undisclosed defects — meaning damage or issues that were not shown in our listing photos or described in the product notes. We do not accept returns for:

• Defects or wear that were visible in the listing photos
• Items that do not fit your space (please measure carefully before ordering)
• Change of mind after delivery
• Color or finish differences due to monitor display variations

If a return is approved within the 24-hour inspection window, a 30% restocking fee applies.

Order Cancellations

• Within 24 hours of placing your order: 20% restocking fee
• After 24 hours, before 7 days: 35% restocking fee
• After 7 days: Order is final and cannot be cancelled

Delivery

We deliver to Nationwide. Options include Curbside Delivery, In-Home Delivery, White Glove Delivery (Aseembly + debris removal) and Free Warehouse Pickup at our Hackensack, NJ warehouse. Delivery pricing is shown at checkout before placing the order. If you aren't shown any delivery pricing please call or email us for a quote before ordering if needed.

Please ensure clear access to your property on delivery day. We are not responsible for items that cannot fit through doorways, stairwells, or elevators — please measure all access points before ordering.

Storage

We can hold your item for up to 10 days after purchase at no charge. After that, a $50/week storage fee applies (unless a longer time frame is agreed upon via email)
